Donations

  • No, only items donated to a 501C3 are tax deductible.

  • Our goal is to support sustainable shopping and local families in our community. We will discount aging items to help them find a new home or donate them to organizations that can use them.

  • Our donating families do a great job only giving items that are not damaged or stained. If an item does not meet our quality standards, it will be ethically recycled by a local vendor.

  • Loop Local accepts children’s apparel, shoes, and books in new or used condition. Items must be clean and free of rips or stains.

Fundraisers

  • We will tailor your event based on your space. Indoor, large, open spaces such as gyms, cafeterias, and fellowship halls are ideal. Outdoor spaces such as fields and parking lots can be used, weather permitting.

  • We provide everything you need to promote your event. This includes printed flyers, posts for social media, email templates, and more!

  • The host organization must provide a space to hold the fundraiser sale and promote the event to their community through the provided print and digital marketing materials.

  • Yes, Loop Local carries a general liability policy.

  • No, the inventory includes donations made through scheduled home pickups.

  • To partner with Loop Local, organizations must:

    • Be a nonprofit organization with 501C3 status

    • Be located in Wake County, NC

    • Have a mission to support children or education

Shopping

  • Loop Local is focused on generating funds for PTAs and other nonprofit organizations that benefit children and education in Wake County, NC. As the buyer, you select the organization you want your purchase to benefit. At fundraising sale events, the organization that hosts the sale receives all eligible purchase proceeds.
